1/18 1962 Bob Jane 3.8 Mark II Jag (PA321006)

1/18 1962 Bob Jane 3.8 Mark II Jag
The Jaguar Mark II 3.8 litre has been referred to as the Gentleman's Express. One of these was infamously used as a getaway car in the 1963 Great Train Robbery. Pursuing Police were outclassed by the Jag's speed and handling. Iconic Aussie racer Bob Jane won the 1962 Australian Touring Car Championship (now known as the V8 Supercars Championship) driving a 3.8 Mark II. He won the championship again in 1963, 1971, and 1972, on top of his Armstrong 500 (the forerunner of Bathurst) wins in 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1964. This is a great model for Bob Jane fans and Jaguar fans alike. All doors, bonnet, and boot open. Front wheels are posable. Limited Edition of 2000 pieces. Comes with a numbered certificate. Approx. 25.5cm x 9cm x 7.5cm (10" x3.5" x 3").
