The Caterham Seven is a super-lightweight sports car, based on the Lotus Seven which was produced from 1957 to 1972. Caterham now own the design rights and produce their re-worked version of the Series 3 Lotus Seven. Front-engined, rear wheel drive, and 6-speed manual box. Powered by 1.6L 4-cylinder Ford engines producing 135 to 145 horsepower, and weighing only 525 to 540 Kg, the power-to-weight ratio is monstrous and the acceleration outstanding.
