Spitfire Mk 1A P9374 RAF No.92 Squadron. The Mk 1 bore the brunt of the Battle of Britain, and also flew protective cover during the Dunkirk evacuation. The Mk 1A had 8 machine guns, a bulged canopy, 3-blade prop, self-sealing fuel tanks, armoured windscreen, and armour plating in front of and behind the pilot. Lost over Calais in 1940, P9374 has since been restored to a 100% faithful rebuild including exactly correct instruments, fabric, paint, and equipment. Diecast metal with some plastic parts. Approx. 19cm x 22cm. Comes with a removable pilot figure, and a display stand.
