Fokker E.III Eindecker 105/15, mono wing fighter. Believed to be the plane flown by Vizefeldwebel Ernst Udet when he scored his first aerial victory. Udet ended the war with 62 confirmed victories, the most successful air ace to survive the Great War. The Eindecker was the first aeroplane specifically designed to hunt other aeroplanes. Able to fire its machine gun through the arc of the prop, the pilot just had to aim his plane at the target and shoot. Diecast metal model with plastic parts. Detailed rigging, rotating prop, and fixed landing gear. Comes with a pilot figure and display stand. This cool model is approx. 15cm x 21cm x 5cm (6" x 8.25" x 2").
