  • 1/48 1916 Fokker E.III Eindecker
    Fokker E.III Eindecker 105/15, mono wing fighter. Believed to be the plane flown by Vizefeldwebel Ernst Udet when he scored his first aerial victory. Udet ended the war with 62 confirmed victories, the most successful air ace to survive the Great War. The Eindecker was the first aeroplane specifically designed to hunt other aeroplanes. Able to fire its machine gun through the arc of the prop, the pilot just had to aim his plane at the target and shoot. Diecast metal model with plastic parts. Detailed rigging, rotating prop, and fixed landing gear. Comes with a pilot figure and display stand. This cool model is approx. 15cm x 21cm x 5cm (6" x 8.25" x 2").

  • 1/48 1918 Fokker DR.1 Triplane
    Fokker DR.1 Triplane, flown by Wolfram von Richthofen on 21st April 1918. Wolfram unwittingly played a part in the death on this day of his famous cousin Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron. Finely detailed model, with wood-grain effect rotating prop, pilot figure, and fine wire rigging. Part of the Death of the Red Baron Special Edition. Comes with a fixed undercarriage, display stand, and collector card. Approx. 12cm x 15cm (4.75" x 6").

  • 1/48 1942 Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc
    JX-E 'Night Reaper' BE581, No. 1 Squadron RAF. As flown by Czech pilot Karel Kuttelwascher during night intruder missions. On May 4, 1942, Kuttelwascher shot down three He-111's. This fighter ace ended the war with 18 confirmed victories and two DFC's. Die-cast metal with some plastic parts. Metal propeller, opening canopy, and removable pilot figure.   • 1/48 1945 Spitfire Mk. XIV J E Johnson
    Griffon powered Spitfire XIV MV257 of Group Capt. J. E. Johnson, No 125 Wing, Denmark, June 1945. In April 1945 Johnnie Johnson was promoted to Group Captain and put in command of No 125 Wing. On May 8, 1945, shortly after Germany surrendered Johnson and No 125 Squadron moved to Copenhagen Denmark. MV257 was his post-war Spitfire and the last Spitfire to carry his initials JE-J. Johnson’s wartime record was 515 sorties, 34 aircraft destroyed, seven shared, three probables, 10 damaged and one shared, destroyed on the ground. All his “kills” were fighters.   • 1/48 1917 Albatros D.V Biplane Otto Kissemberth
    Albatros D.V, Jasta 23, D2263/17 of Otto Kissemberth. Described as brave and tenacious in the air, Kissemberth was one of the few who flew wearing spectacles. Commander of Royal Bavarian Jasta 23 at the beginning of August 1917, Kissenberth scored the majority of his 20 aerial victories in this aircraft. Distinctive because of its black fuselage and yellow and white Edelweiss emblems on either side of its fuselage.     Albatros Flugzeugwerke Albatros D.V Fighter of Leutnant R Wolf, Jasta 5, Boistrancourt Aerodrome, France. Wolf may not have been one of Jasta 5's most successful pilots but he certainly knew how to decorate an Albatros. The flamboyant scheme on his personal aircraft was influenced by his heritage and featured the blue and white diamonds of the Bavarian coat of arms and crest. Wolf took charge of this D.V in July 1917. Diecast model with rotating prop, crew figure, and display stand. Approx. 15cm x 19cm (6" x 7.5").

  • 1/48 1918 Bristol F2B Fighter - Charlie Chaplin
    Bristol F2B Fighter D8084/S. Australian pilot Capt. Sydney Dalrymple and Gunner 2/Lt. G. Beagle, RAF No.139 Squadron, Villaverla, Italy. On 8th August 1918, Dalrymple and Beagle shot down two Aviatik D.1 Berg Fighters. In a later mission, they shot down two Albatros D.IIIs, earning Dalrymple a DFC.   • 1/48 1918 SE5a Biplane RAF No 74Sqn K Caldwell
    Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a (Scout Experimental 5) WWI British fighter aircraft of Major Keith Logan Caldwell, RAF No 74Sqn, Clairmarais, France, September 1918. The SE5a was a very nimble aircraft described by some as the Spitfire of World War One. New Zealander "Grid" Caldwell was a celebrated pilot whose reputation grew following a mid-air collision. As his damaged aircraft was spinning earthwards, he was seen to step out on the wing to attempt a repair. All the while keeping one foot on the rudder to help control the aircraft's descent. Knowing a crash landing was inevitable, he managed to bring the SE5 in low over Allied lines, jumping clear of the aircraft seconds before it hit the ground. Allied troops could hardly believe what they just saw, as "Grid" calmly strolled back towards their positions. Diecast model with rotating prop, crew figure, fine rigging, and display stand.   • 1/48 1940 BF 109E-4 - von Werra
    Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 single-seat fighter of Franz von Werra, II/JG-3, France September 1940. The Bf 109 formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe and was the most produced aircraft of the war. Fighter ace, and one-time POW, von Werra was perhaps most notable for his daring escapes from allied capture. Having proved a "handful" in England, he was shipped to Canada where he escaped again. This time making it back to Germany via the US, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, and Italy. For his efforts, Hitler awarded him the Knight's Cross. During Operation Barbarossa he increased his tally of victories to 21. He was then posted to the Netherlands, where he sadly perished on a Bf 109 test flight.     Spitfire MK. Vb BM592, Wing Cdr Alois Vasatko, DFC, Exeter (Czechoslovak) Wing, June 1942. The Mk V was the most produced Spitfire variant and the main version throughout 1941. With a max. speed of 371 mph, and armed with 2 x 20-mm cannon and 4 x 0.303 inch Browning machine guns, it could also carry other external ordnance. Alois “Amos” Vasatko fought with the French Air Force and then the RAF. When the RAF 312th Czechoslovak Squadron was established, on May 3 1942, Vasatko was its first Wing Commander.     PZ865 is a single-engined Second World War Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIc fighter operated by the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). It was the last of Hurricanes produced and is now flown as an airborne memorial. There were 14,533 Hurricanes produced in all variants, and they accounted for 80% of the 1,792 German aircraft shot down during the Battle of Britain. Approx. 20.5cm x 28.5cm (8" x 11.25").
